Mercy Hill Sunday Gathering - April 24, 2022
In our continuing study of the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, we witness an encounter he had with a well-known and deeply disliked tax-collector named Zacchaeus.
Not only was he a tax-collector, but was a chief tax collector, and he was filthy rich. Nobody in Jericho like him.
And yet, we are told, Zacchaeus was seeking to see Jesus only to be surprised by the fact that Jesus was seeking to see Zacchaeus.
And Jesus scandalously invited himself over to Zacchaeus house, and the tax-collector was never the same.
Join us as we witness this encounter and ponder the word the words of Jesus: "The Son of man came to seek and to save the lost."
What does that mean? And how does what Jesus said and did apply to our lives?
Please join us in person at 10am this Sunday at the Hilton Garden Inn as we continue to journey with Jesus to Jerusalem on this his last stop before arrriving there.
Here's a copy of the worship folder.
Can't wait to see you!
We are also offering a livestream option through our Facebook Page for those who cannot attend in person at this time. (Please note, we are dependent on the hotel's wifi so the quality of the livestream varies.)
