In this story, Jesus is given some bad news. In turn, he responds with a piercing question tyring to awaken his hearers to the urgency of responding to his message. 

This Sunday we'll explore this teaching of Jesus that Luke the Gospel writer wanted all who read his historical biography about Jesus to know. And in our day, no less than in Jesus' day, the urgency to respond to his message about the good news of God's kingdom comes to us as well.
