Governor Greg Abbott's executive order requires all Texans to wear a face covering in public spaces.

Therefore the leadership of Mercy Hill Church is requiring all participants 10 years of age and older to wear a face covering while attending our worship service at the Hilton Garden Inn (this is a requirement of our hotel as well).

Please read through this page for our protocols so you know what to expect as we gather for worship at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Here is a copy of our worship service to print out to bring along with you.

And here is what we'll be studying in the Scriptures this Sunday...

Image - Matthew 1.18-2.13 (Rejoicing that God is With Us & For Us)

I’ve often thought another Christmas song that we should sing is Joan Osborne’s haunting song, “One of Us.”

“If God had a name, what would it be? ? And would you call it to his face if you were faced with him in all His glory? / Would would you ask if you had just one question / And yeah, yeah God is great; yeah yeah God is good // “What if God was one of us? Just a slob like one of us? Just a stranger on the bus trying to make his way home?”

The question is as bold as it is shocking to consider.

What IF God was one of us?

It is a central claim of Christianity that God did indeed become one of us when he took on flesh and blood in the person of Jesus Christ.

We're going to explore the implications of that this Sunday in a message entitled, "Rejocing that God is With Us & For Us."

Hope you can join us in person or live online through our Facebook stream
