Governor Greg Abbott's executive order requires all Texans to wear a face covering in public spaces.

Therefore the leadership of Mercy Hill Church is requiring all participants 10 years of age and older to wear a face covering while attending our worship service at the Hilton Garden Inn (this is a requirement of our hotel as well).

Please read through this page for our protocols so you know what to expect as we gather for worship at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Here is a copy of our worship service to print out to bring along with you.

And here is what we'll be studying in the Scriptures this Sunday...

Graphic - Luke 10.17-24 (A Real Cause for Deep Joy).001

Are you a happy person?

That was the question presented to Madonna, the pop music icon.

Her reply: “I’m a very tormented person. I have a lot of demons I’m wrestling with. But I want to be happy. I have moments of happiness. I can’t say I’m never happy. I’m working towards knowing myself, and I’m assuming that will bring me happiness.”

Madonna makes the fatal mistake that so many people make, namely, assuming the secret to happiness is found within. Why would we think that?

According to Jesus, happiness, true joy comes from knowing God and experiencing all the blessings that flow from relationship. It’s a joy that is rooted in a person, not in changing circumstances.

This Sunday, we’re going to look at an episode from the life of Jesus in which his disciples return from an assignment rejoicing at what they had seen take place, and Jesus redirects their gaze to something to something else more amazing and life-defining to rejoice in.

We hope to see you Sunday at 10am at the Hilton Garden Inn
