Mercy Hill Housemoot Gathering: October 31st & November 1st

Housemoot is a gathering of Mercy Hill family & friends to explore art, faith, and the beauty of God’s kingdom through food, rich conversation, and meaningful connections. A “moot” is an Old English term for a meeting or assembly emphasizing a communal gathering in old Anglo-Szxon England.

Our Housemoot connects our desire for growth in community while also reflecting on the intersection of faith, art, and the Scriptures, sparking conversations about how creative expressions enable us to live faithfully as image bearers of God.

Itinerary

Friday Evening October 31st at Rivergate

• 6:00pm — TACO FEAST
• 7:00pm  — TALENT & ART SHOW

Saturday Morning November 1st at Rivergate

• 8:30am — PANCAKE BREAKFAST FEAST
• 9:15am — The Artistry of the Bible Project
• 9:45 — Artistic Interlude (Music, Art & Poetry)
• 10:15 — The Bible Rediscovered: Understanding Scripture as Wisdom Literature (The Bible Project)
• 11:30 — SOUP & SANDWICHES 
• AFTERNOON FREE TIME

Saturday Evening at the Rourks

• 6:00pm — SMOKIN’ BRAZOS BBQ FEAST (bring sides)
• 7:00pm — Hymn Sing + Fire Pit
