When It's All Said & Done, What Do You Gain?
June 21, 2020 Speaker: John Ferguson Series: Ecclesiastes
Scripture: Ecclesiastes 1 :1– 1:11
In these opening words of Ecclesiastes, the wise old Sage calls it like he sees it.
We are a vapor. The world goes on like it did before us, and it will continue on long after we are gone.
Under the sun, it seems like this existence is so short and fleeting. The Sage even contends that we will most likely be forgotten, erased with the sands of time.
But the message of Jesus breaks in with good news of mega joy!
In Christ our names will never be forgotten, and our work will never be forgotten either.
