In this study, we look at the reality pain and suffering in our world as an experience of it as a catastrophy, or in the memerable words of the musical, Les Miserables, "And then it all went wrong." 

And we see how the Scripture invites us into a story about Jesus in which our stories are brought into the light of God's story, a story about the catastrophe of Jesus death, and the "euchatastrophe" (to borrow JRR Tolkein's phrase) of the resurrection of Jesus and the eventual restoration of a world freed from pain and suffering.
