This week at Mercy Hill, we'll continue our journey through The Gospel of Luke as we look at another powerful and transforming parable of Jesus known as The Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus.

In this study, we find ourselves still at the dinner party in which the misfits and outcasts and marginalized where drawing near to Jesus. It's the same dinner party in which the religious leaders grumbled, "This man receives sinners and eats with them."

This sparked a series of stories by Jesus in which he taught that the reason he is welcoming these folks into his presence is because his Heavenly Father does this very thing.

And so he encouraged his disciples to use their resources to make friends for eternity.

And now, with the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus, Jesus gives a negative example as he seeks to shock these religious leaders out of their complancency and self-centeredness.

Join us this Sunday as we take a look at this parable which has volumes to say about how we live our lives now in light of the coming great reversal known as the Kingdom of God.

Please join us in person at 10am this Sunday at the Hilton Garden Inn.

We are also offering a livestream option through our Facebook Page for those who cannot attend in person at this time. (Please note, we are dependent on the hotel's wifi so the quality of the livestream varies.)
