The first followers of crucified Jesus turned the world upside down by announcing this simple truth: he rose from the dead. 

Their central claim: We were eyewitnesses of the resurrection. 

What turned Peter, the fearful denier of Jesus into a fearless proclaimer? What turned the skeptical Thomas into a bona fide believer? What turned the unbelieving brother of Jesus into the leader of the church of Jerusalem? And what turned a preeminent adversary of Jesus into his most famous advocate risking everything for him? 

According to their own testimony, it was the resurrection of Jesus. 

It truly was--and is--a game-changer.
