We sometimes have the misconception that God is angry and vengeful in the Old Testament, and forgiving in the New Testament.  However, Scripture is clear that our God doesn’t change (Mal. 3:6, Heb. 13:8).  Even in the Old Testament, we see a God who is incredibly patient. 

We also see a God who promises forgiveness for those who trust in Him.  But God doesn’t forgive like we do—when God forgives, he completely removes our sins from us, “as far as the East is from the West” (Psalm 103:12).  Join us this Sunday as we work through Psalm 103 and discuss this magnificent promise of forgiveness from our gracious heavenly father.
