Governor Greg Abbott's executive order requires all Texans to wear a face covering in public spaces.

Therefore the leadership of Mercy Hill Church is requiring all participants 10 years of age and older to wear a face covering while attending our worship service at the Hilton Garden Inn (this is a requirement of our hotel as well).

Please read through this page for our protocols so you know what to expect as we gather for worship at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Here is a copy of our worship service to print out to bring along with you.

And here is what we'll be studying in the Scriptures this Sunday...

Image - Genesis 12.1-4 (The Promise of Christmas)

“Moving through this summer has felt like wandering in a mirrored maze of bad news….”

Those words were written by a writer named Amanda Wortham, and they're an apt description for this year, aren't they.

Except those words were written in 2016.

Whatever was going then sure seems to pale in comparison to 2020.

This year has been a long one--a wear one, and yet the Good News of Christmas is news that is meant right where we are, news designed to make a weary world rejoice.

Join us as we begin this Sunday as we begin Advent season by looking at the original promise of Christmas spoken by our Creator God to a 75 year old man named Abram.

And we'll see that the promise of a coming day of blessing would be realized in the Advent of Jesus--a thrill of hope, a weary world rejoices, even in 2020.

Hope to see you at 10am online or in person!
