Graphic - Psalm 8 (Crowned with Glory and Honor).001

Quick question: What are human beings? And what are humans good for?

Depending on who you ask, you might get some surprising responses.

Take for example, former Supreme Court Justice, Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., who said, "I see no reason for attributing to man a signfiicance different in kind from that which belongs to a baboon or a grain of sand.

Or consider the words of the brilliant scientist, Stephen Hawking, "The human race is just a chemical scum on a moderate sized planet."

What if we believed that was true? What if we believed that there was no more significance to each other than a grain of sand or chemical scum?

Is ther another way to look at this?

Thankfully, the Scriptures grant us a much loftier and much grander view of humanity.

And if we learned to treat one another the way the Scriptures invite us to view one another, well, that would be paradise on earth.

Join us for our study from Psalm 8 called, "Crowned with Glory and Honor." And we'll see the lengths that Jesus himself went--even to being crowned with disgust and shame--to rescue and redeem and restore humans to royalty.

We hope to see you in person at 10am this Sunday at the Hilton Garden Inn.
